Total:

i.e. There will be a charge of  £40 for one night and £60 for 2 nights (Bed & Breakfast with a 2nd meal included). It will cost £10 for those not staying overnight (i.e. day-visiting, to cover light refreshments and entertainment) and £15 with a meal (Download application form below for more details). Camping may be possible (details upon request).

Please fill out the application form below and include a cheque made out to the 'Quantock Reunion Fund'  - payment in full I'm afraid. Places will be given on a first come first serve basis. Receipts will of course be given.

The closing date for all applications is the 23rd July 2003. If all places are not filled at this stage, non-pupils (e.g. spouses) may apply to attend.

Any question please contact Mike ([email protected]). Please do not contact Matron directly, as we are trying to make this as hassle-free for her as possible

Return the 'Reunion Application Form' by the 23rd July 2003:
  • HTML format  -  Print straight from the web.
  • RTF format     -  Microsoft Word Document - download (may need to right click and select "save as"), edit and print.

- watch this space for updates ...

Hi Shelly,

Numbers are still a little low (I haven't actually counted them) - I suspect some people will only get there act together closer to the date .... but I've promised to take people on a first come first serve basis, so I hope some won't be disappointed

Dear Community Member,

It is my duty to inform you that you now have less than a month to submit your Application Form to attend the Big Quantock School Reunion. It is time to get off your bums and write and send me a cheque (more Details). If  we are to make this work (and who knows when we will be able to do this again), we really need to get the ball moving very soon - so go on, do it today!!

Mike

Hi Mike,
I'm suprised at the slow response for bookings to this reunion, as this might be the last one to be held at the school.

Well last night I started to mobilize the 1990 gang - I rang a few numbers and it looks like there will be at least 7 people from my year coming ... a bit more arm-twisting and the number should go up .... just your usual, 'I'll was getting around to it ....' excuses ..... We should get Mr Phil to ring everyone and tell them to report to log-chopping ?

I haven't committed to it yet I'm afraid, as it's right on the back of our family holiday - I'll literally be driving back to east Hertfordshire from SW Devon with the family, and then have to whizz back down to the Westcountry the following day..

Yeah, yeah, I know it's not *impossible*.. There are options I haven't explored yet, admittedly - for instance it may be possible for the wife and kids to dump me in Somerset as we shoot through on the way back (maybe they'd even like that, I dunno) but that would mean she has to do all the unpacking etc on her own, which ain't really fair.. Ah, domestic life, eh?

Still, got another 20 days or so to come up with summat haven't I..
