was just going through the archives and found this, from a Challenge about 'school memories'
A B Cs I learned with ease,
And social etiquette.
My learning was to thrive at five,
Late on, got better yet.
I taught my self to play to win
To loose...a thought that I'd refuse.
School was good, not as it should
In teaching angles, so... obtuse.
Not accepted, nor protected
Just an alian in their midst,
I found we lost a common ground
As each year's prize they missed.
With air so tense at my expense,
I fought to be the best.
For me it was, to never pause
In beating all the rest.
So yes, I learned, so much at school,
Not least my people skill,
Although I have forgotten much,
That...I never, ever will.
