Hi Nature lover :>) I am happy you are enjoying our site here. In answer to your questions, someone joined using a nickname with an asterisk after each letter and the search wouldn't pick that up. I have repaired it and the the B button for members now works again :>)
I have never heard that catnip ages like a fine old wine. I prefer mine fresh from the garden and I try to use it in moderation. :>)
HGP's explanation is about all you can do using the email link on the front page. However if you click the members tools in the left nav bar, you can then select email the managers and I along with all the assistants will receive your letter. One of us will surely know the answer. :>)
Lastly , I didn't notice any thing special about the skeeter bite. If west nile hasn't been killing birds in your area then it is doubtful that the misquitos are carrying it. I should have know better and worn a repellant since one of my neighbors horses died of west nile last year and they are stabled only about 500 yards from where I live.
