Yummy! I made these last night.
1/4 lb. spicy pork sausage
3/4 cup biscuit/baking mix
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded sharp cheddar
3 Tablespoons water
2 Tablespoons canned, chopped, green chilis, drained
In a small skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until
no longer pink; drain and cool completely. In a bowl, combine sausage, water and chilies.
Shape into 1-inch balls. Place 2" apart on well greased, or parchment lined baking sheets. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 mintues, or until lightly brownied. Serve warm. Refrigerate leftovers. Yield: 3 dozen
I only had regular sausage, so I added some dried cayenne peppers for spicyness! (is that a word?) teehee
