To all group members:
I use a Dewalt 788 and have a Black and Decker BT4000 as a backup (just in case the Dewalt breaks down- so far hasn't happened)-- just wondering what everyone else in the group uses.
Will try to keep track of the responses and let everyone know the results.
Don't be too shy to respond.

Here's my two cents.  I have the dremel saw which I used about 8 to 10 hours a day for the past 2 years and excpet for the tensioner that wears out ( about every 9 months) I am happy with it. I am looking into a dewalt maybe for Christmas.

I have 2 DeWalt 788's, and a P-20 that never gets used. I also have an older C-man, and a home built treadle machine.

Oh WOW ! !  Christmas came early for me.  I got a reconditioned Dewalt. Can't wait to use it. Lots of cutting to do now. Think one can use two machines at once? One in the right hand and one with the left hand?
Thanks for all the input it helped to make up my mind.

I've got a DeWalt and am very happy with it. No vibration, no problems.

I currently have a Tradesman (I know I know but low$$$ made it an only choice)
I had to make my own zero clearance insert, and when the tension bar broke I replaced it with 12mm stainless steel threaded rod (bet that won't break soon). I also still have my homemade (from a sewing machine) saw as a back-up.
I HOPE to get a decent saw after I sell a few of these clocks I have been churning out at about 1 a day. Maybe a Hawk. I'd LOVE to get an Excaliber EX-21 with the tilt top instead of a tilting table, but at $849.00 I think I'll have to get a few more clocks done. Now if I can just get the word out that I am selling them mebbe a new saw will come soon.
