Dearest Greyfeather~~~Thank you for sharing the language ! I am of mixed blood: Blackfeet (Siksika), Cherokee & Dutch. I proudly walk the chosen path of my Tradition (Siksika), as it comes naturally. Also, my husband, Silverhawk, had cut blood with the Siksika, back in the '50's, while he was on military leave. It's been a little difficult for us to learn the language, as we live in North Central Texas. We've learned a little, mostly from books. You don't meet a lot of Blackfeet down here ! Anyway, I just wanted to share and express my gratitude. I look very forward to learning more.~~~Thank you !!! Prayerwalker |

Greyfeather-
Although I do not have much native american in my blood my mother assures me that I do have some. I am an open book when it comes to learning. Could you please put pronounciation by these words, I would love to use these words in my daily chattering, but I can not figure out how to pronouce them. A friend is black foot, about 75% I think and I would love to teach him if he doesnt already know.
Thanks so much. |
