to the elders in respect, & with the burning of the sage in honour to you, Q-i beleive a war priest & medicine man accompanied the war parties, were the war parties made up of all the clans combined, or was each clan a seperate war party,also i have heard  of 4 scouts or spies being used, 1 was raven, 1 was wolf, 1 was fox, & 1 was owl, is this correct, i would love to know more of the clans , also, i know this is a lot, to ask, with blessings thank you wolf who runs .

 

 

 

Tobacco for the blessing that you may be able to help me.Seven years ago I lost my children to the state because of some lies spread by my late husband's family who were wanting the death benifit checks my kids received and it almost caused me to lose my mind.  My husband, family,and friends all advised prayers.  One night, I was laying on my bed, praying for the strength to fight to get my kids back, while my husband watched TV.  All of a sudden, instead of the blackness of closed eyes, I could see a small hill with a buffalo standing broadside, head to the north, with a bright yellow sunrise behind it.  This scared me so bad I say up, looked at my husband and told him "A buffalo is here!"  When I explained what I saw, he told me  to lay back down and if  the buffalo was still there to ask it why.  I did as he said and the buffalo said "For strength and endurance."  For a very long time after this, when I became weak all I had to do was close my eyes to see the buffalo and was renewed. 

A few nights after the buffalo came to me, I was again praying and I saw a rock outcropping (like the one in the Lion King and a coyote walked out onto the rock and turned to look behind him, soon the buffalo walked up also to stand there.  While the buffalo was standing there, the coyote turned to come down and stand in front of me.  I ask the coyote if he had a message for me but all he would do was sit and smile at me.  At the time my youngesst was too young to speak and has since shown a possible conection to coyotes.  Please help me to understand these messages.  I have waited seven years to find the answers and I have felt incomplete without them.Prayers and love.  Blessings on the Elders!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im a new member here, this is a great site ive learned a lot here. i do have one question though: what are spirit guides and how do you know what your spirit guide is?  wado for any info.   

Flossie   The buffalo was there for a reason...like a messenger who was overlooking you and keeping you safe. The coyote was also a protector and your  spirit guide...wado Annie

cheri  our spirit guides comes to us in dreams, or visions. They can be anything that could  be a  protector or messenger. In time, you will find out what is yours....someday...hugs annie

 Woomera.... I really dont know all the clans and war parties ect. To me it was more important to learn and live the ways my anscestors taught me and hopefully it will always be in Peace.   Maybe Greywolf would know more....wado  Annie
