2 years ago we gave up buying Christmas presents for each other and family members so we could send $2,000 to One Spirit to purchase chain saws, wood splitters and protective equipment. I believe that was ans will always be the best Christmas present we ever gave to "ourselves!" The temperatures on the rservations are already below freezing at night and providing financial aid will save lives. There is also a program where you can "adopt" an elder by providing a small monthly stipend. Please check out their site and see how you can help! |
