I have suffered from seasonal airborne allergies for the past six years without much relief from prescriptions or over the counter medications. My Dad told me to start taking a teaspoon or so of honey produced in Arizona each day. Supposedly, bees in the state where you live gather honey from the plant life in your state. When you eat the honey it helps your body ward off all the effects of the pollen in the air. Also, if you take the honey at night your metabolism boosts while you sleep (without any insomnia effects) and you burn those extra calories consumed during the day. Just started this natural home treatment so I will let you all know if it works. |

Hi acertainsmile, My sister in law who is a nurse told me recently that one of the allergists told her that if you eat honey that is made in the area you live in the pollen they use to make it will help make you immune to it, so there must be something to it. She is allergic to everything they tested her for, except chocolate and glue..lol quite a combination huh? lol I hope it works for you. I have been thinking of trying it myself. My allergies get worse the older I get, I think. Love in Light and Peace, Winds of Change |
