>RondaB and RaeLe, where are you and do you still watch LOST???
Sorry I was MIA on this thread at the end. I was studying for my licensing exam so Lost had to go on the back burner. I finally watched the last 6 episodes (actually one of them didn't tape - the one where Michael shot Anna and Libby, I just saw it on the "previously on". They seem to be skipping it in the reruns as well so I'll have to try to get it online at ABC.com.) Anyway, I thought it was great that they brought Desmond back for the final episode. Remember when we were all thinking where in the h does he think he's going? Now we know. He had a boat! I also think it's interesting the relationship between the magnetic field and the plane coming down. Of course the plane was off course before that. I'm pretty sure they can't be near the Bernuda Triangle since the plane was flying from Australia to LA. Even if they were off course, to end up at the Bermuda triangle, they would have flown over quite a bit of land on which to safely land.
As for questions answered, the only ones I can see answered are where Desmond ran off to, why he was sailing (are we really to believe that Libby gave him the boat!), why John saw the light in the hatch, and what happened to Desmond before they all arrived.
As for the Others, I'm more confused about them than ever! Plus, since Henry knows where their camp is, he could just send the Others back to ransack the place. He seems to be their leader. I just wish we knew how these people were connected to the Dharma initiative. They didn't even seem that phased by the whole explosion/blinding light/ear deafining thing. It's all very weird.
I hope that Hurley DOESN'T go back to camp, but tries to find Sayid on the beach. He knows that Sayid is there.
As for Michael, I was thinking the boat was going to explode when it pulled away. Would serve him right, other than Walt would have been killed too. Now who is going to watch Vincent. Poor Doggy. I guess he'll go to Sayid or Charlie.
I'm just glad I just finished watching it so that I don't have that long to wait. They are holding off before it premieres though so that there are less interuptions. It's not their fault that they have to air repeats. A season is 26 new episodes, but there are 36-38 weeks in the full TV season. So they spread them out. Traditionally nothing new comes on from Thanksgving to New Years but that's still just 4 weeks. That still leave 6-8 weeks to fill.
See you guys in the fall (or whenever)! I'll try to keep up.
