Recent events and a week of horrid nightmares and visions have prompted me to write.

 

My youngest sister is embarking on a journey that will take her from the safety of our borders into (another country) the home of a man 15 yrs her senior. I've watched in horror as he has manipulated his way into dominating her completely. For the week he stayed to "visit" my sister no longer formed her own opinions....in fact she rarely spoke but to echo his own voice or request.  His overbearance has garranteed that once in his home she will have no way of leave but with his "permission".

 

This is but a mere glimise into the situation.....I could go on and on.....however ..I know she is an adult. But the sheer fear that I have over this is difficult to put to words.

 

I have no recourse but to pray for her safety and that perhaps she regain some self esteem and remove herself from this situation.
