Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but I just got in the door. I talked with Mom earlier, and the doctor told her that everything went really well. She goes to see him tomorrow, and will know more then. It seems like only about a year ago that she had this done the last time, but hopefully it won't have to be repeated again so quickly. Thank you for all your prayers and good wishes. I'll let you know what her doc says tomorrow. Abby |

Abby I didn't know it was a repeat surgery on the same eye? I thought she was getting her second eye done... Prayers and lots of them that tomorrow the results are positive for Nenna... |

Abby, how is Nenna doing with the new vision? Did she have cataract surgery this time or laser? They can do laser several times after cataract surgery to get rid of floaters. I had it done once in each eye. It helped a lot. Annie |

They did laser surgery this time, Annie. She seems to be doing really well. No pain, and although she only has peripheral vision in that eye (she describes it as having a black hole in front of her, and seeing around the hole) from a stroke, she can "see" better. She is classified as blind in that eye. Abby |

I am glad she's doing well. I'd sure hate to have only peripheral vision. Is there hope that the central vision will return? Annie |
