DD, I did a search for falling out of bed.

This site suggests it could be an inner ear or other neurological thing, or other causes. But it did say that you should go to your doc for an evaluation, asap!

Taking a bit to check in with everyone!  We've company for another week so life is busier then normal around here!

Weather is holding steady.....no real surprises yet.  Monsoon season is here so we'll be getting surprise storms every so often that drift up from Mexico..Arizona areas.  Hasn't rained in months so we'll look forward to an occational shower this summer.  Temps are 100 -105......apparently that is somewhat normal for the next (on average) 77 days.

Had a good chuckle!  My son took a mini vacation this past week back to Beaverton to visit his friends.  I received a weather alert via email Friday that said Beaverton and the surrounding areas were under a weather advisory.  Extremely hot temps for a few days!  90 to 100 degrees!  That mixed with the normal humidity is miserable for that area.  So....the funny part about this - just before Randall left on his trip we had an argument about what he had packed...  long sleeved heavy shirts, sweatshirts, and long jeans.....heavy sock..and tennis shoes.  He's not touched that stuff since moving to Nevada!  I laughed and stated that it was now summer in Oregon....he probably wasn't going to need ALL that warm clothing!  Of course......mothers don't know anything...right??   Well.....I called him Friday evening and asked him how he was doing....(while trying to keep a straight face).  His reply....."this is horrible!  I've never experienced sweating just sitting still!"  He wasn't amused when I told him we were having a cooling trend this weekend...... 105 degrees .....down from 110 when he left.  Bahahahahahah!

Just wanted to tell you that my prayers were answered.  Seen my daughter for the first time in 4yrs.  She is so beautiful!  Got to spend about 4hrs with her.  Then called my son (who just came back in my life around Nov) to come down. We had a great time together.  I have never been so happy in all my life.  You couldn't give me a million dollars for those few hrs.

It was just like old times.  There was laughter in the house again.  She is coming to see my tomorrow also.  And she said she might make her trip longer so she might just stay with me instead of a hotel.  She drove up here from NC by herself.

Royal greetings from Boston.

All is well.  We are still settling into the somewhat new home.  However, mummy is about as organized as a dog fight, so she is taking this week off in an attempt to get it to look like it has not been robbed recently.

Because my windows face lots of trees, I'm getting used to the different outside bird calls that I never heard in our last apartment.  I rather do wish the blue jays would keep it down just a bit, but the robins and cardinals are delightful.

Mummy is on vacation this week, which means a lot of goofing off and naps for her.  My goofing off and nap skills are highly developed, and I am teaching her the finer points.  The snacks should also be outstanding because she will be here for most meals.

The weather has been beautiful, and my play area is coming along nicely.  It's slowly evolving into multiple perches.  With my usual birdy ingenuity, I'm using anything I can for a perch.

Royal greetings to everyone, and have a wonderful month.

The rose picture is spectacular.  Even though I cannot eat it, it's still my favorite flower.

Hope you don't mind me telling you more.  Got to spend some time together today again and we just talked and talked.  Like we have never been apart.  It felt so good.

Not sure yet if she is going to stay longer.  But when she left today she told me she loved me.  I am in heaven.  I guess I will find out tomorrow if she will stay with me or a friend she has here if she decides to stay longer.  I could keep her here forever. lol!  Going to be hard to say goodbye.
