Are you all hunkered down over there? Hope Ike won't be too hard on you all. Do I need to come over and bring you back to our house for a couple of days? You are always welcome here :) Will be thinking of you!!! Logan & Megan's 5th bday (9/9) party was going to be this Sunday after church but we moved it to the following Sunday just in case. The forecasters always make such a bigger deal than it ends up to be but better safe than sorry. Up here in the Dallas area it's supposed to be windy and rainy. I hope there's thunder and lightning too!!! :D Is anyone else in Hurricane Ike's path? Monette |

Thank you Monette W., Donna, Buffy, Melinda, Michelle E., Marilyn A., Yvonne, Cathy S. and Cathy McK, Ruth, Isaac, Kalani, and all of you who have shown such support and concern during this past week when Hurricane Ike decided to sweep through my town. It makes me feel good to know you're still there with your love and thoughtfulness. That's what I like to see in this group. I was without electricity for 6 days and since my home is total electric that means I didn't even have any hot water for showers or cooking .. not even a cup of coffee! It was very quiet just sitting here alone watching the candles burn by the hours. I had plenty of time to just think and pray. I was really very blessed because other than my yard being full of tree limbs and debris, there was no damage. Many others weren't so lucky. Thank you for praying for me and my family. I love you. |
