Voni was a strong loving woman who tried to protect her daughter and grandson with everything in her. She will live on in Rusty and Kris.

I wanted to post you a birthday greeting on what would have been your day on the 14th.. but was so sad that day thinking of you and wondering how Kristen and Rusty were doing.. Dear Mom, I miss you so much. I can hear your footsteps still in the house. Rusty Started football on Tuesday, he said that he is going to dedicate all of his games to you. Kylee had a new batch of kittens yesterday, 2 black, 1 brown and white like sunny, and a gray and black. they are so cute you would have loved them. I am not sure if I am going to keep Rusty in Galesburg or not. He is haveing a lot of trouble. I am sure part of it is him. He did start band, and yea he is doing the drum. so you will hear him. Leon is doing alright. he misses you as well. Steve well Steve is Steve, Jamie had her baby it was a boy she named him Aden. I don't see the girls much, she told people that I abused Rebekah, but we all know I didn't. I am so happy that you are not in pain anymore. I love you very much and I will see you again someday. I did not know Voni either as I had just joined (last January) and she passed soon after or so it seemed to me.....but I do know that many members greatly miss her and when I look at the pictures that Kristen has posted of her, I know she must have loved animals/cats.... so do I so I know for certain I would have loved her gentle heart...... thinking of you, Voni....Peace,Cheryl |

I'm in shock, I didn't know about Voni's passing. She was an amazing woman, I remember years ago, My daughter wasn't long diagnosed, I got side tracked and gave my daughter her daily dose at night by accident, I was in such a panic and was sure I had just killed my child, At that time we lived in the outback and hours away from a hospital, I spoke on the phone with Diabetes Australia but they just give you the logical stuff, so jumped on the computer and Voni was online and aswered my desperate post. She sat up all night with me (my night her day) I honestly felt like the worlds worst mum, But Voni would hear non of it & got me threw it. To her family, I know you know this, but you were blessed to have her in your life & so were we. I'm so sorry to hear we lost such a bright light. |
