| Hello everyone.....I am looking for the birthplace of my ancestor, Helen (Ellen) SMITH.....she was born 10/2/1826 in County Down, Ireland. Helen married David BLACKLEY in Drumgooland,3/2/1846. I have a full list of her children, thank you. Helen died in Canada,1905. Would like to know exactly where she was born........ Any advice or help will be appreciated. Thank you, Val. | |

| Hi Val I can tell you There are Five Ellen smith Listed in the Irish Family Hstory Foundation For Antrim and Down For The years Around 1826.But Note only One with The same Spelling As in Your Message Church Baptism Smith Ellen 1826 Co. Down

Marian.....this is the most promising information yet......thank you. I am working with relatives in France and in Canada on this family research.....we had all hit the wall when getting to Helen(Ellen) Smith......maybe we can move on now. Hi Val Mike has found a record which shows the church where this Ellen was baptised. So if you feel this could be the correct one you could now send for a copy of her baptism certificate. 1 match for the search criteria: Smith (plus variants) Ellen - Parish:
