last year we were looking to book a holiday for this year abroad but in the nd we couldnt afford to as my older 2 are 14 and 16 they are classed as adults this was an all inclusive deal it really annoys me as they are not adults and as it was an all inclusive deal they paid adult price does this then mean they would be able to consume alcohol no and so we looked at self catering but they would still have to pay adult price

by law they are not an adult till they are 18 so why is it holiday firms class them as adults from about 12+

was just having a moan i think this is unfair

It is incredibly unfair  Holidays cost a fortune for families as it is, without having to pay adult prices for two of them.....

Have a look at Thomsons Eelie, they have loads of child places that go up to 15 I think it is.  They do Superfamily and Skytours holidays with families in mind.  Their website's HERE mate, you can download the brochures to your pc from there.

The best and cheapest way is do it seperatly and dont go through the travel companies....do a search on where you want to go and rentals and get a 2/3 bed apartment and get your flight of the internet as well...I guarentee it will be soooo much cheaper... My bro went to majorca last year with first choice in  3 star apts main holiday weeks it cost £2500 and thats with young kids....this year he has booked a 2 bed apt with comunal pool next to beach....all mod cons , washing machine etc...and flights for £1300...the same weeks....

we used to do it all the time and we had great holidays for half the price...

try and have a look

We are booked to go to florida in August and booking all the theme park tickets we found that, an adult is over the age of 10!!! for the tickets. Such a rip off.

easyjet and BMIBaby both charge adult prices for under 13's but wont let anyone under 14 fly alone, not that I wud allow my child to fly alone at that age but if they arent responsible enuff to fly alone and arent adults then why pay as an adult
