This is the 14th card "Death" and this card 13th card and a Major Arcana. Please post what you think this card means, please do not use a book to look at, but go by your gut feelings and instincts. If this card came out in a spread for a person what message do you feel lies within. Remember you get out of this what you put into it, it doesnt matter our much or how little you post, the key here is to trust yourself in what you give. Please post you feelings and thoughts and add it to this thread. In a couple of days the meaning of this card will be posted. Please dont be shy to post, this is meant to be a fun excercise that we can also learn in :) |

I think that the "Death Card" means the end of something significant in your life. This could be a relationship, job, or something else.

In every ending there is a beginning. Sometimes we fear and resist change but we have to understand that unless we let go of the old there is no room for the few. Therefore although there may be traumatic events coming up these are just the storm before the calm.

I already know what the death card means, so I won't post that part of it. However, based on persnal experience quite some time ago, I'd like to say that I really believe that in a reading the Death card can pertain to a physical death, even though readers are advised by many books not to give this meaning in a reading for anyone. |

Here is my version of the 13th tarot card, Death. When I study this card, I see a both the beginning and the end of a cycle. A reminder that it is time to cut the cords of ways, thoughts, ideals that no longer serve and move on. This change is not easy and can bring with it confusion, even turmoil. But it is necesssary for growth and development. Also can mean time to look into one's 'darkside' to see it's influence on our current situation. Is it in balance with one's 'lightside'; is it overpowering, causing us to be hurtful; is it too deeply buried, causing us to allow oneself to be used or taken advantage of by others. My response to this Death Card is this. This card merely means the end of something, but the beginning of something else.
With every new life there must be a deathof some kind.
one needs the other equally to procreate
