| T'weren't nuthin'.... Thank you for your sweet comment my dear friend... It's a good thing I have this week off because I'm really pushing to get the room at least halfways presentable... It's actually a lot of fun for me because I've always loved to learn new stuff... (I hope I feel that way when I start my new job next week... lol). I'm starting to think it might be prudent to migrate our MSN Fireplace soon... I didn't want us to be part of the first big "bang, crash, boom" as Aimoo learns how to migrate a MSN community but now, I'm worried that they will withdraw the ability if their servers overload. I also wanted to wait to be sure as many of our members saw that we ARE moving as possible. One of our guys is actually in a small country near Russia but he has in fact signed into the new site so maybe I don't need to wait so long... I'm flipping it around in my mind... Surely to God, by now, Aimoo will have worked out any bugs they might have initially had with the migration and I can still copy/paste our active threads even tho' we will no longer be able to post to them in our archived room... I just want to get as much copied as I can and then, whoosh...we're outta here... More and more, I think Aimoo is soooo much better!! LOL.. can you tell I'm thinking out loud??? If you (or anyone) has any ideas bout this, please feel free to give me your thoughts.... It gets lonely with just one brain, yanno!!! Luv n hugggs, Silken |

Hi Silk And all old and new members; First and formost everybody should be thanking Silk for busting her ass and geting this program together.I am working overseas in Kazakhstan (which bt the way Silk is almost as big as Canada with people and area, and has more oil reserves than Saudi). My time difference from here to where Silk lives is 13 Hrs ahead.It doesn't matter what time of day I check in here that special girl is on her puter trying to build us a new home. She has done a wonderfull job and migrate to the new site ASAP as she is starting a new job soon and can not devote 24/4/7 to us as she has been doing,cause the poor girl has to work. All old friends should just check in and see how easy it or hit the donation button whith milions Oldsaddletramp |

Hiya OST... Thank you for your kind acknowledgment of my efforts to get our beloved group engineered on Aimoo... I'll admit I'm logging some long hours but some of it is because I have to learn as I go along and that, slows me down. MSN is being a real bugger lately and at night, slows down to a crawl... I expect it's because so many groups are already in migration. With both Multiply and Aimoo pulling groups off this site to their own, I have no doubt they're grabbing a lot of space on the server. I'm just hoping we don't leave anyone behind with the move... The migration will not automatically transport our members to the new site and everybody needs to register... Hi Silverlox... Thank you for hanging in there with us during our transition... I know it's not easy to find all our MSN groups now. They've scattered and are either on Aimoo, Multiply or Yuku websites. I've had some problems catching up with my groups even tho' I've registered all over the place... There are quite a number of us that have moved to Aimoo specifically because it offers our own private chatroom, our privacy overall (very important to all of us in this group), it allows us to migrate THIS group onto our site (I haven't done that yet but I will be...) and it is so user-friendly. If you want, I can try to help you find your groups but I would need a list of their names. Aimoo has a community called "Showtime" that makes it easier to find any MSN groups that have moved to Aimoo. They also have a "forums" search feature that allows you to enter the name of the group and search for it that way. If I can help, give me a holler... I created a mailbox for you in the new site on November 16th. I hope you like it... I was very pleased with how lovely it turned out. Click below and you will be transported to it....
