Hi roomies: I just realized that it is June 6th and there is no June sign-in thread- I don't know if it is permissible for me to start one ( is it host/hostesses only? Well, I suppose that I will be finding out, LOL)......so how is everyone's June going- I am doing fairly well- keeping busy, anyway.........my roommate and myself are both done university for the year- he is in an electrical apprentice program. and as you may or may not know  , I am working on my B.A.- anyway, he (my roomate) is working out of town, so I am doing the house/baby/dogsitting thing- it works well for both of us- I get room/board/internet/sat.TV/all that good stuff, and, in turn, he gets peace of mind knowing that things are being taken care of......so I went to see the other doctor (the one who acually fixed me up) and things are doing as well as can be expected- I just have to keep working it with one of those hand squeezers........plus, I fouind out (this should have been common sense to me), that, since my nerves were completly severed, they will never come back 100 percent, but my clawed pinky is starting to straighten out a bit, and it is easier to pick things up now........I still have a while to go, though, this only happened a year ago- May 21st, to be exact........so I have to go back in 6 months for another check.......k, hope everyone is doing well, see y'all later....lets get chat going again, Dang it lol............ |

Signing in for June. As the days count off this month we grow closer and closer to Ride for Sight. To date, Ldy and I have collected over $2,800, with still more money to come in and have been asked if we would lead the parade from the Legislative building in Wpg. to the town (Treherne) where the Ride will be held. Quite an honour indeed, now, if I can only stay the course and not get lost. |

Well, yep, it is June.. don't nobody chat here no more. I been popping in but all I seem to find is cobwebs... Is there anybody out there? or in here, as the case may be....! |

Oh my goodness I forgot to sign in for June as well! I am still here but I am wondering why no one is in chat. I finally get my own computer at home and everyone leaves....LOL Mish |

Igottamazda here...Look-in a coupla -times-a-week, but no-one here...Just signing in for feb-mar-apr-may and june and can I sign in for jul and aug ??? My memory isn't what it was !!!! Have a great summer all, BBQ's and beer, let's get on with it. BTW what is the best night to be at the fireside, tried every night and still no-one there. HAPPY SUMMER !!!!! Igotta. |

Hello Igotta... Thank you for signing in.... It is delightful to hear from you my friend... It's like this Igotta... In my departure from Telus, I had to put everything I owned in storage and literally went down the tubes so badly financially during the lockout that I returned to stay with my very kind daughter and her husband (Shyann and Ratsolo here in the Fireplace). I WAS online during my 6 weeks with them but struggling with a rather sizable depression and looking for work. Unable to get work in Kamloops while living in Armstrong, I moved to a motel unit and had very minimal computer access for 6 months. It took a while to find work and even longer, to save enough to rent a place where I could install a computer. During all my own personal challenges, MSN decided to send their adult groups up to what appears to be no more than a porn site and our original room was migrated (it was mandatory). THIS room had been created as a backup. Between the two calamities, our members lovingly waited for my return. When a manager leaves her community (regardless of the reason), it almost always destroys it. Because we have been a stronger community than most, we have survived but after 6 months away, it is going to take some time to get everyone to return to chat in the evenings. The function that allows us to send announcements to our members is currently not functioning and I am hoping MSN will fix that very soon so that I can announce our chat nights as I always used to... I am hoping to restore this to the lively community it used to be 8 short months ago but... who knows.... I appreciate that you are checking in to find out if anyone is in the room regularly. I hope to have a chat night very, very soon if I am able to get the Announcement function to function... Bear with me Bud... and know that I feel warmed by the fact that you have hung in with us throughout all of this... Hoping to talk with you soon... Huggggs, Silken |

22 June, 2006 Hey Everyone; Just to let you all know I am still in the mix. Have been away up in Kazabazua, Quebec renovating my X's Inherited log house. I feel 50% better now that my aches and pains are for a reason, funny eh. Will have lots of pictures to post when I am back for the July 1st weekend my little guys birthday is the first of July and I have promised him we would take in the festivities on the Hill.
