as your sitting in your bed.

Such a sweet innocent girl

so courageous for what’s ahead.

They already took your kidneys

got those bad things out of you

now they are getting you ready

to start dialysis too.

I can only imagine

how scary this must be

for you to have to endure

this thing they call PKD.

You definitely are special

that is one thing we all know

You have touched all our hearts

more than we can show.

We all love you,

even though we’ve never met

You have given us all inspiration

to be our very best.

My thoughts and prayers are with you

as my hopes and dreams are too.

Soon you will be running and playing

just as young girls do.
