Here I sit once again

wondering what is happening to me

There is so much going on inside

that I just can’t see.

 

My body is a temple

but I feel it is going fast

God do I hope

these feelings do not last.

 

I try to do the best I can

with all of my might

But some days I feel

I will never win the fight.

 

Other days I have a better attitude

and know I will be okay

Because regardless of what happens

I know God will show the way.

 

Some days are better than others

for all of us it’s true.

Now it is up to God

to decide what to do.

 

Here’s to all of you

for all the help you give.

Knowing that you are there

makes it easier to live.
