As the sunrise

is starting to begin

I have a realization

from deep within.

 

Just like the birds

as they start to sing

I too am happy to see

what the day will bring.

 

So much beauty

surrounds us each day

Many of which is ignored

as we go on our way.

 

So many little blessings

that we forget to see

Because we are overwhelmed

with what is happening to "me".

 

So instead of dwelling on you

and all your pain

Open your heart and your eyes

to see life again.

 

Each day brings a new beginning

filled with hope and possibility

That soon we will have the answer

and all be living happy and pain free.
