For Our Troops

I have to say

from the bottom of my heart

How proud I am

for you to do your part.

 

It takes a special someone

to handle what your going through

May God be watching over

every thing you do.

 

My wish is you get home safely

I pray for it every day.

Now it is up to God

to make it happen that way.

 

For all of you with family

or maybe just some friends

that is out there fighting

I hope this war soon ends.

 

When the troops get home

be it a girl or a boy

just think of all the things

that we will all enjoy.

 

Until that day comes

which we all want to see

I know it won’t be soon enough

I am sure you will agree.

 

Just remember

as hard as it may be

God will get us through this

Just you wait and see.
