after finally tracking down my cousin (which is female) on Cheyenne River.... I was informed that women usually end thier prayers with the term "mitakuye oyasin".
I am sorry that it took me so long to find out something so simple for you all, so please forgive me.
I know that there are some that argue the point of saying that it does not matter, but you must remember, Lakota language is gender based. To speak it properly, you must know these terms and words. Hopelly in the very near future, I will be able to have the opputunity to make a list of female/ male endings when it comes to the language. Thanks for your patience.
