My husband has been having headaches for almost 6 months now. I have finally convinced my somewhat stubborn better half to seek medical attention. The appointment is today and I am praying a cause and treatment is found for hubby's pain. My husband is not one to complain about such things so these headaches he is having must be pretty painful. |

Dear Acertainsmile, I will keep your husband in my prayers for help and healing with his headaches. I know from a past experience how much headaches can affect a person's life. May he feel light surrounding him and I pray for the doctor to have knowledge to help him. You are both in my prayers. Love in Light and Peace, Winds of Change |

Thank you all for your prayers. I wish I could tell you we have an answer but we do not at this time. The appointment with the doctor was a horrific experience. We were left waiting for an hour and when we finally saw the doctor (a man who seems in desperate need of vacation time) our visit was brief and very abrupt. These days following the disasterous appointment, my better half has been cranky, frustrated and angry venting it all in my direction. Consequently, my husband has vowed to never see a doctor again (it was like pulling teeth to get him to this doctor). I am very worried about all of this and pray he will reconsider his resolve. I did recommend we perhaps invest the time and money for him to go to the hospital ER where he would be thoroughly tested and perhaps get a diagnosis without the hassled of running from doctor to doctor. I guess at this point I will just wait and see and try to remember all things happen in good time. Hugs, Chrissy |

Dear Acertainsmile, men it seems have very little patience and expect everything to happen right now... LOL. And they don't get no better the older they get...LOL. Hubby had an appointment months ago but got into a mood saying what for? nothing gets better anyway. Since then he's had some dizziness....... he does have an upcoming appointment and I go in with him when he sees the doctor 'cause the man never remembers to tell the doc how he is feeling (he can't explain how he feels) nor asks any questions. Maybe it would be best if your other half did go to the hospital ER as you suggested. They do a thorough exam and let you know what they find, normally right away and usually contact your regular doctor with findings. My prayers are with you and hubby that he learns patience and doctors will find what is going on. My prayers are that it is a minor thing. Sending love, light, inner peace, (HUGS!!!) Real |

Dear Chrissy, I agree with Real, men don't get any better about the patience with doctors. lol I hope you will be able to convince him to go to the ER if not to a doctor again. I will keep him and you in my prayers for a solution to this problem. Love in Light and Peace, Winds of Change |

A nurse who was taking my blood one time for a test told me that they have to watch men when they take blood, because alot of them pass out. I can certainly believe it the way they act about any kind of medical procedures. And men I am not knocking men in particular, just their attitudes about going to the doctor. lol Love in Light and Peace, Winds of Change |
