Can't find the old link so decided to start a new one...

We've gone African this month... and we're (flock) singing along to African Safari

Last night was the best display of animals I have seen except for once when the elephants and giraffes were there on the same morning.
The baby elephants rolling around in the pond are so much fun to watch.

Sunrise occurred there at 10 p.m. my time (Central) and the animals immediately began coming in small to large herds. Impala came in two different herds of more than 50 each.
It's fun when there is something going on, at dawn and sunset there.

And so we were!
I hope I remember to watch again tonight. Hubby is out of town so I may change up my schedule a bit.
Watch the sunrise if you can. It comes thru the middle of a stand of trees and is so pretty.
10 p.m. central time.

THey are panning around the pond, but I don't see much. There is a bit of sunrise showing now!

Must be coffee break time. They still aren't in the right place to see the sun peek through.

There is an odd looking bird sitting on a branch over the water at the moment. Under the video it says Mashatu Gam Reserve, Botswana, Africa.

I just got here. Is the bird a short tailed black and white with a short rear angled crest and long bill?  That was one I watched last night. Cute. He sang a lot.

That big male eland is rooting his head in the soil just like he did last night. I am wondering if this is a repeat video.
