I showed my car at a Mustang Club car show today. They didn't start to hand out the awards until almost 7 PM. I won "Best in Class" for Mustang convertibles, all years. Can you believe that? My four year old car beat out some of the tricked out brand new Mustang convertibles. Ahhhh, sweet victory. I was blown away. I really couldn't believe it. I didn't really win anything except bragging rights. So here I am bragging. I was going to try to upload a picture of the car, but MSN is being stubborn tonight. Oh well. Maybe it will let me do it tomorrow night. Car shows are pretty easy to compete in. I just took it to the car wash and then drove it there and sat around and collected my prize, which was a plaque. I guess I'll start an "I love my car" wall. LOL  Hugs and lots of love, Dan |

Congrats Dan! Way to go. That is really neat. I love Mustangs. A Mustang was my first car. I had a brown 1978 Mustang Hatchback. Bought it with 6,000 miles, traded it 2 years later for a new Camaro with T-tops when it had 12,000 miles on it. I always liked, and still do, the old Mach Mustangs. They are bad *ss. I always did want one. I'd take one today if it were fixed up nice and we didn't have to do it ourselves. :) Once again, congrats!!!!! tomcat |

CONGRATULATIONS DAN!!! I LOVE MUSTANGS. MY VERY FIRST CAR WAS A MUSTANG. I WAS SO SAD WHEN I HAD TO SELL IT :( WHAT STATE DO U LIVE IN? THERE ARE CAR SHOWS HERE IN CARLISLE, PA AND IT IS SO HUGE! I CAN'T EVEN BELIEVE SOME OF THE STUFF PEOPLE DO TO THEIR CARS. IT IS A WHOLE WEEKEND EVENT AND A LOT OF PEOPLE CAMP OUT FROM FRIDAY UNTIL SUNDAY. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR AWARD AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE PIC :)

Congrats Dan on your car award as you deserve it. I bet you take good care of your car . I know the feeling as I do my truck. You should be proud and brag because you earned it . Hope you enter more car shows and win more. Good Luck and you go . I'm a ford man too . anyway CONGRATS Dan |

Well, I've got some pictures in my camera. I'll get them downloaded onto the machine in a day or two, and then here. I just haven't had time since yesterday. My car is an 'O4 Anniversary model Fire Red convertible, GT with a black vinyl top and grey leather seats and a 4.6 single overhead cam engine, with a Mach 1000 stereo system, an automatic transmission. The only aftermarket things on it are the anti-theft devices and the radar defuser. And yeah, it's kind of a guy thing. LOL Hugs and lots of love, Dan |

me protest.....I'm a woman and I love cars.....at one time I was going to paint them went to school through the ceda program the government had and when Regan became President he wiped out the program.......I couldn't finish the course to get my degree or certification rather.......oh well I still painted the cars on my own for a bit then I just quit.....single Mom and all.........................Dale |

Dan, I feel your joy. I used to belong to van club organizations and they held shows for converted vans (mostly the older models), tricked out pick-up and cars. Those shows were awesome.
