There are posts going around other boards about the possibility of MSN groups ending or merging with another Social Network called Multiply. If this is true it would be effective in February, 2009. I have read everything out there and although it seems true I am with holding my judgement on it at this time. I want to read more concrete evidence before I believe it. If what I read is true we can merge Divas over to Multiply not losing anything. Over a year ago they removed ADULT boards and merged them to another site and all went fine for them. So really at this point there is no need to worry about anything.

I guarantee I won't let anything happen to Divas. I love all of you way to much and we've been together to long. I have looked at Multiply and don't believe they can transfer the boards as they are.

I also am trying to read everything I can on this situation and learning what I need to know.

I have written to MSN myself to get some kind of validation. When I hear back I will print it on the board.

Hi Angel i have been in an english group for 8mths now as i am originally english

Anyways today they made the move to multiply and had a smooth move its a little different but for them it has become a better layout for them it will take a little time to get used to it but it worked out.

Myself as i said before had to sign in as aussiemin as maybe a lot of us will have to change a little on nickname as someone already had min

They chose to go ahead with the change straight away before everybody starts and it gets busy.

I feel for you making the decision good luck

I had the same problem with one of my groups that has already switched over. I just put Mia at the end of my post. I hope these changes don't make it too difficult for everyone.

Hi i went to multiply and had to register with Aussiemin as that's the closest i could get so i dont know i dont understand the rest so im like you two we will have to wait and hope its smooth sailing.

It gets too frustrating for me im getting old ha ha so i hope its going to be easy.

I am only in 3 groups--2 of which are trying to change over now---Each to a different forum. I am going down for the count with migrane headaches. Holy Moly---I think using the phone and IM would be easier. My poor old mind (part of which was lost in a stroke years ago) is going to shut down. LOLOL!!!

Happy- I have heartaches over this. I know I will lose things from the board no matter what I do.

Mia- I know about most of them. I have narrowed Divas move down to two boards and am checking them out. I need time to work on them and see which will be the best move. (they are not on your list) So far it is the only one similar to MSN in style and user friendly along with posting siggies, using html, etc.

From another group this person moved her group here and offered her group site has a place we can peek and see the layout and ask questions. She says it is the most like our msn groups

Geri- Aimoo is the main one I am working with to see if it will work for us. It is the one most similiar to MSN for us.

*I have been researching all the boards to decide where the best place to move Divas would be. I definitely do not like the board MSN says will transfere our board to. It was called Multiply. It is not user friendly and would drive you crazy. I will however transfer all of Divas to Multiply and use it for storage only, otherwise I will lose it after February.

*I am in the process of setting up Divas on a new board called Aimoo. That will be our new home. It is very user friendly. Is very similiar to MSN groups as we know it except for format but still NICE. We can still use siggies and backgrounds plus lots of extras. It has a chat room to. The downside to using Aimoo is that NONE of the old posts will be on the new board. There is no way I can transer/copy/paste everything over there. When we all are settled there I will give you all access to where Divas things will be stored and you can copy paste any and all you want to the new board. I am setting up the same boards we are used to and I will move some things.

*I will let all of you know when I am all set up. Until then we are safe at Divas with MSN.

*What all of you will need to do in time is obtain a screenname and email address with Aimoo.com. I will let you know when to apply to get online there.

* I will also make a list of things for you to know about the new board. It will be sent to all of you and pasted on the new board.

I checked out the Aimoo, and have registered and waiting for the time to go to Divas there. I want to keep connected to my Divas. This is just about the only group I have anymore, really only one I do post in. Nyda
