One of our members in Canada is looking for someone who lives in Lincolnshire who can help her out.  What she would like is a photograph of number 76 Henry Lane in BARDNEY.  Her ancestors lived there in the 1800's and were married at Bardney Parish Church.

If you are able to help out this lady, please post a message in reply to this and we will put you in touch with her.

Thank you.

Kate,  Does this lady know the name of the church in Bardney and what religion it was?

Marian,  It is a pity that the name of the church is not mentioned in the birth & marriage records other than parish church Bardney which could mean any religion
I was going to have a look for a picture of the church if the name could be found

Hi Liz

Her ancestor was most likely affiliated with the Church of England, but in any case I have posted her a message under Coulson with the site for the Bardney parish churches.  If she contacts one of them I am sure they will assist her to find the right church.

Appreciate your help, Liz.

Best wishes
Marian

Thank you for the wonderful information.  I have her religion as Presbyterian but I believe they were married in the church St. Lawre NCE on Church Lane.  We found a picture of it.

Thank you everyone for you help

Candy,  Very pleased to hear that you got a photo of the church.  St. Lawrence was the only one that I could find online in Bardney
Isn't the internet wonderful?
