Hi Darlene.  We went up to see Marilyn yesterday.  She was sitting up in bed, but looks bad.  She is having surgery today on her right leg and shoulder.  Drs. plan to wire and pin her leg and and put a cage and screws in her shoulder.  The other leg is in a cast, she broke her foot and toe on it.  On Thursday she’s having surgery on her head and face.  Her skull was fractured down the middle from front to back.  The bones around her eyes, nose, sinuses were broken.  Her upper and lower palate were broken; she has no sense of taste right now.  Drs. are not sure if this is temporary.  But, if things go well (?) she might get to come home next weekend.  It will be 8 weeks before she can attempt to walk again, but she’s in good health overall and has the will to do it.  Everyone’s prayers have helped cause it could have been so much worse.  Brother Timmy is in much better spirits; I was really worried about him the night of the accident.
