This is a real shot in the dark so i dont think anyone can help me but worth a try!
Just over a week ago i was contacted by a second cousin on the Jacobs side of my family (My Grandad's Sisters Grand-daughter).  The wonders of Genealogy, anyway to cut a long story short she has filled in many gaps in my family tree, which has avoided lots of searches thank goodness, but now i have found that one of the relatives was born in Ireland, what a mixed bunch we are lol. I now have the family dating back to 1790's but there is one that i can not find any information on and the only information i have is as follows.
Ann Smith Born 1806 in Ireland (yep i know Ireland is a big place and there are millions of Smiths) She married George Allberry born 1800 and born in Chislehurst Kent and they went onto have 8 children.  That is all the information i have so far and if anyone is able to help me find out any more information i would really appreciate it.
Many thanks
Dee

Hi Dee

I've put a message under your George Allberry message as Mike has found some more information on his parents and siblings!

Hi again Dee

I've had a look for births of Ann Smith 1806 in Ireland and as you can imagine with a surname of Smith there are quite a number!  To add more confusion there are also variations on spellings - Anne and Smythe, for example.  However, having done a search for the exact year of 1806 (rather than a couple of years either way) and narrowing down the spelling and discounting those with the incorrection spouses, where provided, I have come up with the following:

Anne Smith Pedigree
  Female

Event(s):
Birth:
About 1806   Of Pullamore, , Cavan, Ireland
Christening:
Death:
Burial:

Parents:
  Father:  Peter Smith Family
  Mother:  Bridget

Obviously, without a birth certificate there's no 100% certainty this is the correct one but having discounted the others for various reasons mentioned above, it looks a good contender.   What do you think?
