Hmm difficult one that cos you say you dont want sympathy but my first instinct is to wrap arms around you and give u a hug, I guess issues like this are hard to handle and we all deal with them in our own way, I guess if news is not good, then you have to live for self, no matter how selfish as worrying about others reactions, how ever natural they be, could be a waste of your precious time. But we all need friends, friends who care about us, gut instinct is your friend is frightened and so does not know how to handle situation, give it time and possibly when she accepts situation friendship can resume again. Your friend probably doesn`t realise just how you feel, that you don`t want sympathy. He/she may not understand exactly what is happening to you, even if you feel they are aware of your results etc. Some people are very scared of illness, even when it`s another person who`s ill, and they might have blanked a lot of info out. If I were you, I think I would ask a mutual friend to explain how you feel, either that or say something myself. <<<<<<hugs>>>>>> |
