by Karol L. Jenson. This is a non-fiction book written by an American psyhotherapist who, herself, came out in later life. It is a professional exploration of how these women come to discover their true identity and what they do about it. It explores the theories and reasoning behind married women who discover their lesbian sexuality later in life.
I found this book fascinating and interesting and it covered alot of areas from How Women Know to Why These Women Marry Men. If your'e in a situation like this, it is well worth a read.
On the same subject, I have also read 'From Married Wife to Lesbian Life' by Ellen Farmer and Deborah Abbott, which is a collection of narratives and poems from women themselves; 'Married Women who love Women', by Carren Strock and 'Unexpected Pleasures' by Tamsin Wilton, which is a collection of interviews and observations.
