I am not trying to stereotype or lable girls under butch or femme, I also know that some of you are inbetween. Society is aware there are femme lesbians but has mainly related lesbian with butch. But what do you guys think the ratio is between butch and femme women? Please give feed back - Im kinda knew on the scene and am just really interested. Luv Kgirl |

In attitude I'm more butch than femme I think. But in looks I'm more femme. I always said I was half a tomboy lol |

Used to think femme but since accepted self as who I really am seem to live in jeans and sweat top, hardly wear my make-up and am at the mo really comfortable with self for first time ever, so what am I, goodness knows but starting for first time ever to be happy so there you go, really haven't answered question have I? lol |

I'm a bit of both, I love my long hair & hate havin short nails but I can be quite butch aswell. I do dress up girly but only when I can be arsed which isn't very oftern. Put me in jeans and T-shirt & im happy |

I guess I'm neither one thing or the other. I have longish hair but don't wear lipstick or much makeup - maybe just a little foundation. I mostly dress androgenously but sometimes wear skirts - usually short ones in the summer, lol. But I like nice lingerie too though I very rarely wear a bra. I like playing club football. I wouldn't describe myself as butch though. Soft butch?? Maybe. |

Oh, I didn't answer the question! I guess when I look around I see more butch-looking women than femme-looking. Perhaps a ratio of 3:2 or maybe even 2:1. I suspect, though, that there are lots of lesbians I've not yet seen in Sheffield! Looking on dating sites like Pink Sofa, Gaydar Girls or Shoe suggests there could be a ratio more like 1:1 but it's hard to tell. Does it matter anyway? I don't think so! |

Ok, I guess I didn't ask the question properly. I mean - say you had a group of 100 random lesbians in a room. How many do you think would be femme, butch and inbetween? I know catorgorising isn't good, but I would really like to know.?? Kez |

it is was a random bunch no one could give you numbers ? you might get a random bunch of all femms or butch or inbetweens LOL I guess it goes with whats in at the time and what your comftable in going out in , i`m more of a butch than femme when i go out but if i have to dress up for weddings i go for femme. |
