Went to see this the orther week. Movie about 'Danny the dog' ( Jet Li ), who is human and been held like 'a dog ' and used purely as a means of winning fights for Bart ( Bob Hoskins ).Bob Hoskins play's such a bad character ,he really annoyed me at times the way he treated Danny.  Danny wears this metal collar round his neck on a permanent basis and whenever it's unleashed ,he turn's into a wild fighting frenzy.

It's very much a human wins in the face of adversity theme. I found in general some of this movie made me sad and some of it uplifting too.

There is alot more to this movie but I was weary about going to see this as I don't like movies with lots of fighting and alot may not like the sound of this because of this but the martial arts moves in this movie are brilliant and especially the one's in the house and in the bathroom area.

Morgan Freeman is good as ever in this

and Jet Li is so believable and just brilliant. I was told he was in the Lethal Weapon series??

the girls good too.

Great to see Bob Hoskins again, great actor.

 

It's worth going to see or hiring, it's never boring..

I was surprised by it to be honest and thought it was great.
