Hostel This movie is produced by Tarentino I think. Went to see this the other day. This is about a couple of American graduates/students and they are backpacking around Europe. It's brilliant in the way that for the first hour or so you assume it's going to be perhaps another sort of sex fest but it's not...It's quite real in the way it portrays two young men who meet another European backpaker and go round the bars and see the soft drugs bars that they have in Amserdam which is were I assume it is and do a tour of the red light areas... They get talking and meet some guy who tell's them were they can meet some really hot women.. So they go... It gradually gets uneasy to watch because you feel it's too good to be true that everything in this place were these women are is just "perfect" so to speak.. It goes on from there but don't let the first perhaps hour distract you and make you think it's not good. The first part is important and leads you into the next phase of meeting the women and from then it continues...it's all linked..it's a brillant movie and does contain some nasty bits of horror (torture) but it's a really good story...makes you think! I would recommend this movie. Thanks for reading 10 from 10 Ms K |

I have heard lots about this film and can not decide whether I want to watch it, Im usually in to horror and stuff in a big way, but there a few films ( and only a few ) that have left scars 9 phsycologically on me, I know it sounds weird but its true, they play on my mind like forever afterwards and I think this film would be one of them, The films that effected me like are The Silence of the Lambs ( just the first one) , Texas chainsaw massacre, The exorcist ( although I can watch this one now ) and The accused, I think its because they either could or have happened in real life or are based on a true story, after watching these kinds of films I feel depressed and that the world is truely a messed up place to be in, I dont know if I dare watch Hostil lol, maybe leave that one for now Hugs Chez xx PS Who sits in an office and thinks of these things to put on to film, some warped stuff going on there I think In someones mind. |

'Hostel' is loosely based on, 'true events' if I'm correct in thinking.. reality..(real life) is far more warped than a movie me thinks.. thanks for you reply Cherrywillow Ms K |
