hi i am new here, the name is Jana. I am a pregnant lesbian of 3 months. This is my first child, hopefully i will have more. I know this is harder being a lesbian thats pregnant and a lot of people ask questions. they ask questions like "why do you say your gay if you slept with a guy". There is a lot to put up with and it isn't just from the people but also from your own thoughts. also then the emotions kick in and isnt that a rollercoaster ride, heh. I am just posting this because there wasnt any pregnancy ones and well im pregnant! was just wondering if any one else is too or has any advice...thanx! :)

Parenthood is a rollercoaster ride all the way,so my advice is to enjoy every moment,never have any regrets...children bring more to your life in so many ways...it's not always easy,but the love is out of this world.Don't ever doubt yourself as a parent...you can't always be perfect,but if you love your child(ren),you will be a wonderful Mum! well thank you...i try to do my best in this...heh...but dont we all...is there any way that ya know, your child can be tooken from you if your in a same sex relationship?

as far as taking a child from someone because they are in a same sex relationship....

as far as i know.. and please correct me if i'm wrongs girls.... but even just the thought makes me shudder! i can't imagine any services doing this!!! or being allowed to do this!! i hope to god that great britian has moved on past that ever happeneing....

it's possible that others who disagree with a child being in a same sex environment, could fabricate stories of neglect, just out of spite, but socail services wouldn't remove a well looked agfter, well loved, happy child from a home because of the parents sexuality....

anyway hun, don't worry yourself about stuff that hasn't happened, you've got months of sickness, aches and pains, bloatedness, swollen ankles, strange cravings... and then to top it all, hours and hours of the worst pain you'll ever experience.... all to come......

and we have the nerve to congratulate you on being pregnant, lol..... you deserve a bloody medal!!!!!!

theres a message board for gay parents, (if this is where this message is posted already, sorry, lol, i'm reading all topics at once and cant tell, lol) so any parenting stuff, just add there, not sure we've had anyone pregnant before????

well i have suspicions i might be carrying twins...so FUN FUN...lol...but i also have suspicions im carrying a baby girl lol...cause of my dream...my dreams are usually pretty accurate so...the night before i took the pregnancy tests...i wasnt too worried i went to bed thinkin i wasnt...that i was just imagining things again...had a dream i was pregnant...woke up took the tests...and i was!...lol

Hi magic, im Helen. I have 2 children who mean the world to me. I don't live with them but have very good access to c them as often as i want and can. Ex hub is quite alright with me being gay, i had had lesbian relationships before i was with him, we are good mates now. Pregnancy can b a rollercoaster ride but do enjoy it.
