Jan I know I told you before I didnt like multiply but I went again. I hate to see all your hard work come out looking so distorted. I know its not you, its multiply. Everybody says the same thing about multiply up till now I avoided it and now I can understand why they said that. You always did your boards very professionally and they looked good. There are other places most of the people moving went to forums because of the way multiply works. Its okay I guess if your not dealing with tags, photos or animations. I think we can do better by looking around. Jan, what I see is your going to put all this effort into something that wont work and is frustrating. When you go to photos before you even open the folders it doesnt look good. A forum is close to msn in posting and I think you would do better there

Jan that was for some other people I just wanted to show you that posting in a forum the end result comes out like msn. Willow I find that too only one forum that has issues like msn is free forums Most people dont like forums but I find they have stuff that msn doesnt Jan thank god you are open minded I couldnt see myself on multiply its hard enough being the only one from states left

Chat room if we get a chat room they leave me in their by myself like they always do cause they watching soap opera One of the guilty parties is still an assistant manager here too

i've spent another 2 days on the net looking at multiply, and other free space, and i'm leaning towards a lycos style site where i can put a chat room and forum, but keeping us all together by using multiply as a member base, somewhere we can all join, where group announcements can be posted, group emails sent out.

non of the 'free web space' sites have a member facility where we can manage memberships, or non i have found as yet anyway. i can see multiply becoming a stop gap, just to keep everyone interested all in one place, while we arrange something to suit everyone.

if anyone knows of free web space, with chat room and message board facilities, and with membership facility, please post and let me know :)

I dont like it but will go with the flow.

no one likes that the groups are going, all we can do is find the best home, and with yuku and aimoo both having chat room and forum, we'll actually be better off there than here :)

I found out why they are closing on my internet browsing Msn groups are closing because they dont want these msn groups to compete with their new windows live groups and their stock to go down. Now putting 2 and 2 together and how microsoft sleeps, thinks ect in dollars and pounds I may be wrong but what I am thinking is that windows live may not be a free service cause if it was wouldnt they just transfer these groups over to windows live

A lot of people have lost interest in groups because things like Facebook etc. have become so popular now. I keep my msn group going basically as a source of information for anyone who has joined, hardly anyone posts now.

So is there a Multiply group to join now?

btw I wonder where everyone went?? I have to admit I'm guilty of spending a lot of time on Facebook and MySpace though neither are a substitute for a group. Perhaps people have just lost interest in groups now. Having had a look on Multiply I'm concerned that most of the groups seem to be 'adult-themed', if you know what I mean. I, for one, am not interested in any of that!

I agree and also our site LWW has gone to the pits since MSN Group Closures and true Face Book is where people are joining .

Now you take for example my Multiple Sclerosis Help site no one can use either Multiple or Aimoo and were all F'''' up ..these people are disabled.I am thinking a way out or just close up LWW and on Aimoo I thought it was private yet I heard it wasn't . I don't know where we are going and I know Jan you have to be at your wits end too.
