I have started the migration process for late to it lesbians.
During the next two days you will get an invitation asking you to join the group at multiply. Please follow the instructions in the email and join the new group. If you do not get the email simply come into this group and follow the link provided here.
YOU CAN STILL CONTINUE TO USE THIS GROUP (ON MSN) TIL THE DAY IT CLOSES. 21 FEB 09.
What 'migration' means, is that all of our pages will be copied over to 'late to it lesbians@ multiply.'
WE WILL NOT BE USING MULTIPLY AS OUR NEW HOME.
I have found us another home with chat room as well as forum, but this will take time to set up. I'm asking you to join multiply so that all of the members are saved in one data base, so that when the new group is ready i can contact everyone with an invitation. I will set up a temp message forum at multiply so that we can all still keep in touch, drop in and say hello, catch up with the progress on our new home.
When the new 'late to it lesbians' is ready, it will contain message forums and chat room. Plenty of opportunity to participate in fun and games, catch up with old friends, and meet new people. I will then concentrate on the multiply site, re-building all the information sections, help and advice, tutorials, funnies and humour, links.. And of course all the precious photo's you have added over the past 8+ years.
Multiply will then become our information site, and home for all of your photo albums. You will of course already be a member there, but i will also link the two sites to make navigation easy.
The next month is going to be a lot of work, not just building the new sites, but also keeping the boards and chat active, generating interest from new and old members. I will not be able to do this alone, and would be very grateful if those who have been a part of late to it, would step up and help build a good atmosphere at the new site.
Also ideas, requests, things you, as a member, would like to see, or like to do for the group, yourself (maybe you'd like to host a quiz nite in chat, a single's nite in chat. game's you'd like to start on the message forum, signature requests you are willing to make for other members, there are lots of ways to get involved) I would love to hear any ideas, so please, do not hesitate to get in touch with me.
All that is left to say, is thank you for being great members at late to it lesbians @msn, and look forward to seeing you all at our new home!!!
