| | On 21st Feb 2009, MSN will close down 'groups' for good. Late to it Lesbians will be moving to a new home! and i hope with all my heart, that all the great members we have here will come with us! Please use this thread to say good bye to Late to it Lesbians @MSN It'd be great if you would write a few words about your time here, i know many of you have found love, found best friends, discovered a new lease of life because of the site, feel free to share your experiences here. | | I have already made pages explaining 'why' i started this group, and shared those with you, so most of you will know just how much 'late to it lesbians' means to me! when i heard it was closing my heart sank. the thought of it just not being here, the history, the hard work, the wonderful ladies i have met, the fun times i have shared! Late to it Lesbians is a huge part of my past, and still holds a part of my heart! I couldn't just let it slip away unnoticed! Building a new 'late to it' will never be able to replace what we will lose here, but it will be able to create fun and friendship for new members, make precious memories for them, and hopefully continue to do so for all of us! So please join me in saying a fond farewell to the group! And I hope to see each and every one of you come with us to the new home!!! | | This is just one of the many, many sets i have lovingly designed and created for the group. |

| When one of the members suggested a 'good bye' thread, i didn't think much need, 'late to it lesbians' is not closing, we will continue somewhere else. but Late to it Lesbians '@ MSN' is the end of an era, and a 'good bye' from us all, is a good way to close that chapter. (so thanks for the suggestion) I decided to use one of the groups web sets in this goodbye, and then noticed the counter, the 314,581 people who have visited the group since april 2002. and keep in mind, we had already been open over a year when i added the counter. Wow, thats a lot of visitors! so, i thought i'd leave the counter on the page, then thought i may as well leave the guest map, and if i was leaving those, i may as well leave on the early awards we received lol so along with the good bye, a little bit of 'late to it lesbians' history for you to see i will be copying the 'good bye' messages into an archive thread at the new site, so if you wish to jazz up your message, feel free to use the background below, or any of the stuff still in the albums big hugs jan x | |

hi linds with regards to the blue nav bar it didn't always look that way lol the group had 7 categories, general, help & advice, the scene, members, humour, links, and community a-z. these were the only links in the nav bar. when you clicked on 'general' for instance, that section would open up, and another 5 links drop down below it, messages, chat, albums, etc. then if you clicked 'messages' a list of the message boards would drop down. and that went on through out the nav bar, each section had a sub section, and each of these had a list of all the pages in the sub section. all nice and tidy, all nice and easy to navigate :) now to migrate, you have to unhide all of your pages.... and we hit our 400 page limit some 3 years ago, and i had to start another group to keep building this one lol so what you are seeing in the nav bar is every single page, album, etc, all unhid, ready for migration... its a bit messy lol but nothing i can do at the moment. its a good idea to use the SITE MAP to find your way round and the new home, it does have a chat room :) hugs jan x |

Jan I couldnt resist I love this group but I am looking as Aimoo as a new beginning you have been a wonderful manager for all these years. One of these years I will come across the pond  |
