I can understand that. Many of the younger generation don't think much of him. And I mean those under 18 or 17.
You know that seeing a video and attending a concert live is totally different. I have seen the video too, Rock DJ. It was his first brake through, didn't impress me much. But I have seen him later live in Italy, and sure theatrical he was.
I guess this is a tallent, not every performer have. I don't know if you remember Chris De Burgh? Lady in Red? This one on the stage is not at all good. But listen to his songs! I have all his Albums.
You mean David Hassolhoff? The earlier Knight Rider and Baywatch one? Nope, not anymore. I guess he was once popular, but not anymore.
I love Kylie Minogue too. I have seen the video too "Light Years - Love boat". I didn't read the book you mentioned thou. Have never been to Australia, would love to, if I can get the money together
I hope that I didn't give the impression that I was comparing! I just mentioned Robbie, because of the recent tours we have in Germany, and he is supposed to be the next one, even before Madge.
I agree that great shows must not be expensive. I think that earlier, when they didn't have the luxuary of today, still great artists did leave a mark. Maybe I am a bit old fashioned, but the Beatles still impress me more till now, The ABBA and this sort of music.
Again it is a matter of taste, and if you love the Ornages, you don't have to hate the Mangos, right?
Have a nice day
