"The Cruise"

 

It is getting repeated on one of the sky travel channels at present in the UK. I tape it.

It was first shown in the UK on the BBC in the UK about 10 years ago.

 

It was hugely popular and created the, """star""" we all know as...Jane McDonald...

She has released cover versions of well known classic songs. She also does mini tours in the UK.

It's great to watch because its just so unbelievable.

Everyone in it is acting up and pretending to be someone they are not, it just makes me cringe.The Cruise was about life aboard a real life cruise ship,including  the guests and. it showed the highs and lows. Victoria Wood (UK comediene) did a brilliant send up of this series.

 

I dont avoid it because its so cringy its good!

This Morning with presenters  Fern Brittain and Philip Scholfield,

shown on ITV Monday to Friday mornings in the UK.

 

I know it's popular and won awards and I seldom ever see it, but when I do ,as I will in a minute, I am always amazed how they have stretched that programme into years of telly, they must have recycled every kind of cookery and lifestyle type of story over the years, it's like the world could end and "this morning" would still be broadcasting.  It's at time's such a creep show aswell with the "stars".

 

worth watching though as it's not heavy going..

rosemary and thyme

 

 

They are great for people who have left soaps and need something new to give them a new start.

The one thing about all these "dramas" is they are not too heavy going at times and are middle of the road. These programmes are good to have around though and they are always popular with the public.

 

but I dislike them all though

Celebrity love island

 

showing at present on ITV in the UK and

I think on E4.

 

Set on a beautiful island, the name of which I cannot remember,

this list of """celebs""" who are Rebecca Loos....Abi Titmus.....Callam Best ( famous for being son of ex brilliant footballer George Best))and that one who I cannot remember from Atomic Kitten ( UK girl performing trio) and some others.

 

They are supposed to from what I gather "fall in love???" or get "intimate???" on this island..

Nearly all of them are not evn "b" celebrities, they are Z minus.

I have watched about 15 minutes of it, the island itself is what I was looking at, whenever I could get a look when the camera shot wasn't concentrated on someones stomach!

 

I suppose it's another way for some of them to get on further in TV and get more publicity.

 

sorry if you like this show ,but I just believe it to be a waste of money.

I think I've said this once already but it has to be 'This morning ' show on ITV in the UK and presented by Philip Schofield and Fern Britain.

 

I'm never in to see it but when I have it's getting worse.

It's just a 'creep' show and half of the interest from both presenters is just so false..

They assume they are some sort of 'surrogate ( if want for a better word )' family for the nation.

It's a very poor representation of the UK today.

 

I know it's won lot's of awards and the public like it...

What tv programmes annoy me?

 

I don't do alot of tv watching, I'm selective though there is one I do dislike and was told..'don't watch it as you'll put the viewing figures up!'.

 

It's called.."Totally Jodie Marsh" and shown on I think MTV or VH1 in the UK.

 

It's awful. How those episodes are put together I do not know.

It's all aboutI think Jodie ( glamour model............) having to find a husband and fall in love??!

 

Why??!!!

 

good to watch cos' of the disbelief factor.
