Forty years after the decriminalisation of homosexuality, Channel 4 brings together a diverse panel to debate how it feels to be gay in modern Britain. David Aaronovitch discusses how far attitudes have evolved since 1967, how gay and bisexual men and women view themselves today and questions what still needs to change. I watched a programme last night on Channel 4 called 'How Gay sex changed the world' It was a title that was meant to turn heads ( being very Channel 4 ). It was a look back on the media and history of gay's over say the last 40 years and what's been achieved..It was interesting but my only gripe was it didn't actually feature lesbians or interviews with well known lesbians. Very interesting though but would have liked to have seen more about the 60's into the 70's era. Ms K |
