How cool is this....my son's mate (both 15) has lent him his brand spanking new PS3 for the weekend as he had to go on an outward bound course. Now I think that is pure selflessness & lovely to see in youngsters! My son is made up, but of course won't leave his room all weekend! Needless to say,he's very impressed. You can go on the net as well as play games with amazing graphics, but now he wants a large-screen, high def TV!!!! I remember the simple days when we enjoyed playing "tennis" on the tv,with a little ball going back & forth batted by a thin white line!! WooHoo!! You could vary the speed of action if you were capable!!!!Lol! |

Pooks, i rememeber those, id be glued for ages.. god how times have changed. U should see my lads bedroom, they have 32 inch tv, surround sound, ps3, computer, and dvd plus a stereo, phew!! All brought by them thank god, i couldn't afford it. My days used to be filled with four wheel roller skates, my little tape recorder with microphone, drawing, skipping, hopscotch (remember that), rounders, swimming, sitting on the green on summer evenings chatting with my mates and no vandalism or unplesentness involved... HAPPY DAYS. |

Oh No...he wants one now!!!! Our house is soooooo cluttered with wires from a vast array of consoles!!! Anyhow, they are way too expensive as yet. |

From a cosmetic point of view the ps3 looks ugly if want for a better word. Too many consoles have been released around the same time. All competing. Alteast it's multi media. Ms K |
