I can stand on my own.
I'll never let the wall crumble.
Keep within the boundries of myself.
I am safe here.
No one will see what's inside.
It's the motto of fear.
Stay inside, don't open up.
Vulnerability can't find purchase.
If I live within these four walls.
Nothing can hurt me again.
Bar the windows, bolt the doors.
Just light the candles.
The shadows are safe.
No one to reach for.
Because I can stand on my own.
