Hi again, Having not for the past few days received any LTIL posts to my email address I just thought its just another MSN glich! Now I have them all flooding in. Except mine, which I thought was odd. I then looked in my junk mail and found only my posts are going to the junk folder. HAHA! But why? I have always had the enhanced filter switched on. This never used to happen,I could read my own LTIL posts in my own inbox. Is the MSN fault? or mine. Do my posts get sent to everyones junk? Im concerned my orther emails not from this group that are of importance to me are going the same way? Does anyone know why this happens?...Ms Kelly. |

YES! All my new messages today have all just been delivered to my junk folder,I just checked! Im really fedup now...Ms Kelly;) |

hi ms kelly loads of people have been having problems with community mail being delivered. some none at all, then a weeks all in one day, and then people's settings have been changing all by itself. what i'd do, is go into your hotmail settings, and re-click the options you want, and re-save it. it tends to do the trick with community emails. as they're going into the junk mail, it means they are at least being delivered, so it must be something to do with your hotmail. if you have any problems with community stuff not being delivered, come in and re-save your email settings here. let me know if it does the trick hun luv jan x ps... look for the thread in your name x |

Hi Janx, Thankyou for the help you have offered me. I dont quite know certain things...ermm what you mean! sorry! How are peoples settings being changed by themselves? and what settings are they? I always read through all threads sent to me,it was only my own going to the trash...:( Im trying my best to explain in crystal clear english!) I will have to look again and post again my results and see what happens...? Just watched Will and Grace on living tv not long ago,its funny, its about the only american sit com I like these days!...Ms Kelly. |

hi hun i'll explin what 'settings' are... here at the community, you can choose what messages are sent to you. you can have every message posted on the boards, sent to your hotmail. you can get a 'daily digest' of what has happened at the site, or a 'weekly digest' you make this choice by clicking on, 'members tools' and then, 'email settings' you also have 'settings' in hotmail. if you click on 'options' you get given 3 columns of choices, for how to recieve your emails. you can block certain senders, have certain emails put straight into your junk mail folder, or any other folder you choose. now what i mean by the 'settings' changing.... people who have chosen to get communty messages sent to thier inbox, have all of a sudden stopped recieveing them, even though they have not selected these changes. when msn start working, everything goes haywire. i'm not certain what you were talking about, when you said, "only my own" gping in the trash.... do you mean only messages posted on the boards by you? for an email to go straight into the trash, you would have had to block or filter the sender, or, in this case, it's an msn glitch. so it you click on hotmail options, re-set your preferences, and re-save, everything will go back to normal... does this help? luv janx |

Hi again, Well they went to my junk folder again! The new posts method of having checked stuff looks like some people may not get a reply ever! i usually ignore little comments, for the sake of peace and quiet, but some things have to be said! if this is pointed at me hunny, i do need to eat and sleep aswell! and if that means allowing others to make a reply, so i get my hour away, then i'm guilty as accused! anyway, i honestly have no idea why, or even 'how' your hotmail is blocking just the messages that you post! the system, as far as i know, blocks and filters by email address, so if it were to block one message from msn, it would block them all. however, what i can do, is go to one of the msn help sites, and ask how this is occuring, and how it can be fixed.... i still think it's just a glitch, (and yes, an annoying one, lol) that will work itself out when msn stop doing whatever they are doing, that is messing with our settings.... i'll post back any results i get here.... after i slept! luv janx |
