This happened to me a little while back in here. I posted up some pictures in the sports pictures 1000 reply thing and wanted certain posts deleted cos the pictures were incorrect size (something like this i wanted the whole post gone) ,i deleted them but it states, " post deleted by the author" ( something like this anyway) left for everyone to read..which i didnt want. I suppose the only way a whole thread can be removed from a site such as this owned by MSN is when i myself have created it and those who have access to remove such as the manager in groups will then remove it so its never to be read at all.. i hope this makes some kind of sense?? thanks |

msK even we can't remove 'everything' when a single message is deleted from a thread, the outside box is still left, be it removed by manager or member. thats just the way it's set up by msn. when there's only one message in a thread, then we can remove all traces of it, but when there's 2 or more messages in the thread, it leaves the box... hope this helps hugs janx |

Bumping this back up. Have you ever posted a message and then thought Oooop's? Didn't want it to look like that or, I don't want that message up there anymore? To delete a post you no longer want, make sure you're signed in (all messeges that have been posted with that passport will have a delete option) then just click delete on the posts you no longer want. A box will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete it...click yes and poof, it's gone |
