servalbear : if you have the intent, would you not have the ability to believe?
intense_female : because if taking an aspirin only numbs the signals your body sends you declaring something is wrong
yoga(tm) : Buddhism goes both ways on that too. Tantra says to engage the physical as a means for understanding
intense_female : then healing that same pain does the same doesn't it?

intense_female : I once had a terrible bladder infection
intense_female : a friends mom is a homeopath and she came to me and asked "why are you rejecting your own sexuality"

Liriel22 : sometimes people can believe they blind hard enough that they actually are, even when nothing is wrong with their eyes or their optic nerves or the relevant parts of the brain
intense_female : and she was right... I was being used by the guy I was sleeping with and it made me feel terrible
Kaera_ : all illness comes from the emotional body... manifested in the physical
intense_female : so it surfaced itself in a bladder infection (me rejecting my own sexuality)
intense_female : but who thinks of it that way
Gia1018 : well, bladder infection is common among women

Gia1018 : so that means that lots of us have the same emotional problems

intense_female : I disagree Kaera... some is simply physical. If you neglect your body you get sick.
