Which is the best?? the XBOX or the PLAYSTATION 2?? does it depend on the game?? or is it the controls that decide this question?? or is it something completely different?? I have played only a few times on a playstation 2 and find it really great but have the knowledge of the XBOX only, which in my opinion is brilliant. thankyou |

just re reading some of these posts.. Dizzy I don't know if you will catch up with this post but I have a sega saturn, haven't used it in a while must admit but it's a good console. I like Alien 3 on it the most and virtua cop. the only thing missing is the memory card, I know you can get them on ebay though, not really wanting one but I think this was a good console for the time. thanks. the Xbox 360 looks good, interesting to see how that gets on..I don't think that needs to be backward compatible though... |

Is anyone lucky enough to own the brand new Xbox 360 or know anyone who has?? I've played the demo in the shops when I've been able to get to play it eventually! and it looked so crystal clear.. |

Leave it well alone Ms. kelly. You aint seen nothing yet with the Playstation 3. It's going to knock the spots off those stupid Schmex-Boxes. People thought the graphics were good on the last X-Box, and I finally grit my teeth long enough to allow one to be plugged in at my home for my nephew to play his Xmas games on... and to be honest, it's all bull what people have been saying. Frankly, I find the graphics look a lot better on the PS2 than the X-Box before the new 360. Very disappointed... but secretly laughing at the fools who think they ae the nuts in the console world! |

?nbsp;CES 2006: Xbox 360 gets liquid cooling! [new!] 1st January 2006 Since the Xbox 360's launch, there have been complaints by some buyers about overheating problems. While there have been some inventive do-it-yourself solutions, CoolIT Systems will offer a retail liquid cooling solution in the future. The company will be showing off a liquid cooled Xbox 360 at the CES 2006 show in Las Vegas and could enter the retail market if enough interest is shown, TG Daily was told. |

I don't know of anyone with a 360 or anyone who knows anyone with one.. I did read that Microsoft are producing around 3 million available for March 06, I don't know if it's for all of Europe! or just the UK though. I'm assuming the PS3 will have the same kind of spec as 360. I really don't know if gamers today will see a huge amount of difference to graphics and the games in the two consoles..Though for this to work on these consoles I do think you have to make the games that more real and interesting now to hold attention and have as many titles available to buy and aimed at all ages and taste. These new consoles are being promoted as a media centre for the home and that's were it's all heading now. I know you can text another 360 user when they are online or is this an upgrade feature or something for the future?? The overheating story is an interesting one. Though I thought the prototype in the picture( is it one??) looked abit unattractive.. thanks Cuddlecuffs. Hello Dizzy. I did a search for the memory card some months way back and there was some still available and some bids too. I remember playing Alien 3 and knew I coulden't save it! The Saturn was a good console. thanks |

I read that the new chip technology that the PS3 boasts is ten times more impressive than current PCs. |

my friend has the xbox 360 apart from being bulking i was impressed with it, the cordless controllers are a big plus which will stop my cat nagging me 2 stop playing by tugging on them, the graphs are good. the hard drive is good can play music and videos on and download your photographs to it. I am very tempted 2 buy one, but i know i will also want to buy the ps3 as well... i liked the fact that i could change the music in some of the games to my own music... it takes longer to set up a game for 2 players cos you have 2 load the conrollers seperately. So i 'm jst decided weather 2 wait for ps3 which might not be out til next year now, or go a head and buy the xbox 360. I really did enjoy playing the games on it. I have a psp which is good when i go camping but it doesn't get played much... NDS are good my daughter has one and she can link up 2 others nearby and they can play the same game with only the game loaded in one console and send messages to one another, which she enjoyed doing while camping cos other children had them on site. so wot do u think do i go and buy the xbx 360 while waiting for ps3.i do love my ps2 slimline now. x x |

Just want to add to what you've wrote Dorreen2. I personally think it's hard to pick between the Xbox and Ps2 ,but that's just my opinion. I think they both have plus and minus factors,it's just indivdual taste that we all have and what we all like. I have read there is to be a delay on the Ps3 now. One thing that I have, and I know this is an old console now by todays standards. I have the ps1 mini screen that fits on the ps1, so you can play it anywhere. I play it in bed, it's great , not great graphics by the ps2 standard but it's just good to have. I bought it really cheap, something like £25. I remember when they were somthing like £100. You can still buy the mini screen for the Ps2 but they haven't reduced in price much but I think they are a worthwhile buy and especially as the ps2 can play dvd movies.. thanks for reading Ms K p.s has anyone seen that game called is it "Black"?? think it's FPS ,looks great. |
